Z3 - Digital Teaching and Media

Z3 - Digital Teaching and Media has three subdivisions: University Library, E-Services and E-Science.

As Hochschule Offenburg's main information service provider, Z3 is responsible for:

supplying literature and other information resources,
promoting information competence,
coordinating and administering communication and IT-related services and systems, and
offering trainings and other support measures in information processing, communication and media technology.

Literature acquisition and indexing, including digital media such as e-journals, e-books and databases
Reading-room, front-desk and stock-room operations
Assistance and advising for users' literature research

Planning, implementation of webapplications with a clear educational focus
Planning, implementation and integration of electronic services
Promotion and evaluation of technology development and participation in relevant research projects

Operation of the university-wide e-learning platform (Moodle)
Needs-oriented training and advising for teaching staff and students
E-Tutor training
Media productions (e.g. audio and video files, animations)
Promotion and evaluation of technology development and participation in relevant research projects
